What was your most significant take-away from this class and why?
My most significant take-away from this course was the vaious ways to implement technology into my daily lessons. I teach Pre-K and was unaware of all the sites and tools available on the web to communicate to parents and projects that can be done with my students. We are having a district wide open house on Saturday, 3/31/12. I created a glogster to showcase what we learn in my classroom. http://marshall124.edu.glogster.com/mrs-marshall-prek/
What would you like to learn more about?
I would like to learn more about creating a class website to communicate with parents and have a blog for upcoming events and on-going communication
Would you recommend this course to someone else...why or why not?
I would definitely recommend this course to others. In fact, I already have. I am still amazed at all the information I learned in the short time we spent together. Both instructors are passionate about technology and updating education to 21st century standards
What is something new you will try in your classroom?
On the Monday following our class, in addition to making a tri-fold board of pictures I also created a glogster to display things we do in our classroom with the glogster cite posted on the tri-fold board. http://marshall124.edu.glogster.com/mrs-marshall-prek/

I truly enjoyed this course. I learned so much in such a short amount of time. I appreciate the instructors making themselves available to us after the course was done by providing us with their email addresses. I felt like a kid in a candy store when we learned of all the technological resources available. If we can only get the school districts to be open to the use of the information available opposed to blocking out so many of the sites that could be used for advancements in 21st Century teaching and learning.
